| This is an excellent cookbook. I use it myself. If you look closely at this photo of my Thai cook
book you can see that the edges are worn from use. I really like this book for many reasons. Aside from the excellent recipes which are in English and Thai, the authors list the names of most of the common ingredients used in cooking Thai food and the ingredients are listed in Thai, and Thai-English and in straight English. This book has many photos fo the ingredients so that you can familiarize yourself with them by sight. This book shows how to cut fish and cut meats that are used in the recipes. you there are recipes for some very tasty Thai dishes. Aside from the excellent recipes, this book describes how to prepare many types of spicy
Thai sauces from scratch and also how to prepare curry pastes from scratch which you do not find in many Thai cookbooks. This book is in English

This book has many beautiful photos and very good descriptions of the basics of Thai cooking such as ingredients, sauces, curry pastes, rice and noodles, soups, decorative slicing of fruits and vegetables and very good descriptions of the common spices used in Thai cooking.
